Documentary Filmmaker
Author, director, video editor, drone pilot, and professional diver, I am the founder and head of Octopuce Production website., an audiovisual production company specializing in nature and adventure documentaries.
The profession of a nature documentary filmmaker combines technical precision with personal commitment. It requires mastering a wide range of skills, a deep understanding of natural environments, a respectful approach, and sensitivity to the rhythm of time.
Filming nature means working with it, not on it. It’s about trying to capture the breath of the world — listening before framing, understanding before telling.
It’s both a human and ecological adventure. Every image becomes an act of witness, a link between the fragile beauty of life and those who behold it. Because behind the camera lies the desire to awaken, to share, and to protect. To show is already to act.
I embarked on this professional adventure in 2017. Some films have been adventures in their own right — such as Hornstrandir or Posidonia, réalisés avec Bruno Lambert, binôme et co-réalisateur de 8 documentaires produits par Octopuce Production diffusés en télévisions, festivals, ciné-débats.
But beyond documentary production, I also offer opportunities to connect through conferences and workshops (for schools and the general public), film-debates, and field excursions to our filming locations.
